The restaurant is perched on the glacier morain overlooking passu village and KKH.the superb location has the glacier stream rushing beside it with 360 panoramic view including PASSU GLACIER, PASSU CATHEDRALS (TOPAPDAN), FAIRY SEAT (PIRI GOZ). Lunch boxes are in demand for upper hunza excursion or trek booking required the day prior.
Our popular “FULL MOON DINNER” offered all around the full moon period (such as from half moon) is a special dining experience. An exceptional local food menu including specially created dishes by our own chefs-all using local ingredients and herbs. The night becomes complete as the moon rising above the mountains illuminates our panoramic view. No minimum number of guests required to take the dinner. We continue to offer camping facility with hot shower. There is jeep able track to the campsite. Our Trip to Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

To be honest, I've never written a travel blog before so I'm not sure how to go about it but here goes. My husband and I took a weeks trip to GB, Pakistan from 9th-16th July. Since, we were travelling together for the first time we weren't looking for adventure, tourism. We were just looking to getaway, relax and spend some quality time together. I'm going to use this space to answer the most commonly asked questions about our trip. We took a bus from Islamabad, that took us straight to Gilgit. It's called 'NATCO' which is short for The Northern Areas Transport Corporation. It took us about 16 hours to get there with a about 3-4 stops in the middle. The bus leaves at 10 p.m which is good since you're able to spend most of your time sleeping and the travel time doesn't feel too long - at least it didn't to us.   A scenic place to enjoy a coffee while having a break in traveling. Half owned by a Thai lady, the cafe offers coffee, which is not common in small Pakistani towns. Located uphill from the road. Definitely worth visiting, popular also among locals.

Cake and chai at the Glacier Breeze Restaurant

  For the past few weeks I’ve been writing about the Gojal region of northern Pakistan, home to my favourite place in the world Passu, the stunning Attabad Lake, and the Hussaini Bridge. I’ve also written about some of the cuisine of Gilgit-Baltistan in the past, which is significantly different to that of the rest of Pakistan, emphasising fresh and dry fruits, nuts, cheese, and local wine.
